Photo Egypt

November 2010

Egypt – country of civilization. Picture was taken in a small, lost town.

Bread. In the picture bread looks swallowed. In fact, it is a flat bread, a kind of pita.It just came from rolling oven and is taking some rest outside. Usualy locals are buying 10 of these breads.

Water buffalo. Iordania puts a lot of efforts to reintroduce these animals into the nature, and in Egypt they are commonly used in agriculture.

Nile delta are the most densely populated region of the country. And extremely dirty. People are throwing any kind of garbage in water. On photo – a fisherman on trash mountain. I cannot imagine of kind of fish are still living in these waters.

Wash hanging. Regardless of trash and dust, Egyptians dress clean and nittly. But, wash water they dump in river and channels of course.

We are running away from populated and dirty North and heading to desert.

White desert. The region is protected by government due to its special beauty. White color of the desert is of calcar mountains. The wind changed white stones into surrealistic nature monuments.

4x4. Also white.

Black desert. Also a region protected by government. Black color is due to erosion of volcanic mountains.

Down there, our auto.
